• 1) Fully-Vetted Doers: We pride ourselves on only hiring the cream of the crop for our workforce of Doers. All hires are subject to our thorough hiring process which consists of an application, resume/cover letter, character reference, in person interview, and background check/CORI report. They are also rated after each job to ensure high quality of work.

  • 2) Rates: We do not want there to ever be a surprise when you get your invoice, which is why we try and get it all squared away before you even book your job. We provide a list of 'typical' rates on the website, as well as offer a more detailed estimate when you request a job. Please also know that our rates are charged per hour, per worker.

  • 3) Credit Cards: When you submit a job request, you will be asked to provide a credit card for us to keep on file. Why? A handful of reasons. First, with customers spread throughout the Greater Boston area, it is impossible for us to collect cash/check payments for all of our jobs. Credit cards allow us to implement the smoothest payment process possible for us, our customers, and our Doers. Second, credit cards are the absolutely safest form of payment today - god forbid something ever was amiss, just call your credit card company and refute the charge. Third, and most important, is safety. We take our Doers through a lengthy identify verification process to ensure your safety, I'm sure you can understand that we want to keep them safe as well. With that, your credit card provides us with a credible form of identity, creating a safer environment for our workforce. Of course, you will be never be charged until a job is complete, and you will have a three-day window to review the bill. We process all payments with Stripe, an entirely secure platform. You can learn more about stripe here (https://stripe.com/help/security).

  • 4) Insurance: We do not carry a blanket insurance policy for all of our workers, as they are not our full time employees. All new hires sign a waiver stating they understand and assume the risks of working for GladlyDo and the company nor the customer will be help liable should anything happen to them during a job.

  • 5) Our doers are NOT professionals - they are students - and although we are very confident in their abilities, if you are looking for a legitimate professional - now is the time to jump ship.
